Phase 2 · Redesign & Technical SEO
Fixing Speed, UX and Technical SEO
After a while the website started showing its age: pages loaded slowly, the interface was hard to use, and the SEO needed more work. I came back to audit the site, redesign the interface and fix the technical SEO problems.
The problem
- Slow page speed
- A difficult user interface and experience
- SEO that needed more work to compete locally
The audit
I audited the website using Claude and SEMrush to find what was slowing it down, where the user experience broke and which technical SEO issues were holding pages back.
The fix
I redesigned the interface with a clean, modern layout in the brand's yellow and charcoal palette and solved the technical SEO problems found in the audit.
The new homepage

Scroll inside the screen to see the full homepage, from the quote form to the service cards, pricing, FAQs and footer.

Proof of the fix
Google PageSpeed Insights After the Redesign
The redesigned homepage was retested on Google PageSpeed Insights (desktop) on 29 October 2026.
Takeaways
Why This Approach Works
One page per service
Matching each page to a specific local search makes it easier for the right customers to land on the right page.
Design and SEO together
Planning layout, content and structure at the same time avoids rebuilding pages later for search.
Measure, then refine
Position tracking shows which keywords are moving, so effort goes where it has the most impact.
